We are pleased to announce that Brookwood Associates advised Thompson Industrial Services, LLC (“Thompson”) in its recapitalization with MSouth Equity Partners (“MSouth”) and BB&T Capital Partners (“BB&TCP”). Thompson is a market leading provider of mission critical outsourced services to over 275 industrial facilities located throughout the Southeastern and Midwestern United States. The transaction provides Thompson with a valuable new partner, MSouth, to accelerate growth while allowing BB&TCP to realize an attractive return on a portion of its investment in Thompson and retain a meaningful stake in a high performing company.
This transaction highlights Brookwood’s ability to assist private equity funds in partial sales and demonstrates the firm’s speed and focus in a narrow, time-sensitive process. It also exhibits Brookwood’s knowledge and acumen in the business services industry. The transaction represents the second time the firm has advised Thompson in a recapitalization, and extends Brookwood’s strong track record in the outsourced industrial services sector.
