PGA TOUR Superstores

We are pleased to announce that Brookwood Associates has rendered a fairness opinion to the Special Committee of the Board of Directors of Golf & Tennis Pro Shop, Inc., the owner and operator of PGA TOUR Superstores.  The Special Committee was tasked with determining the fairness of a proposed merger transaction with an inside investor.  In connection with this assignment, Brookwood was asked to: (i) assess the Company’s operations, industry and growth prospects; (ii) understand the Company’s complex capital structure and the nature of the proposed transaction; and (iii) determine whether the transaction was fair, from a financial point of view, to the Company’s existing shareholders.  Brookwood worked effectively under a tight timeframe to respond to the Special Committee’s request.
