Para-Chem Southern
We are pleased to announce that Brookwood Associates advised the shareholders of Para-Chem Southern, Inc. (“Para-Chem”) on the sale of the Company to Royal
Adhesives and Sealants, a portfolio company of Arsenal Capital Partners.
Para-Chem is a leading national provider of technically-formulated chemical
solutions including acrylic polymers and coatings, surfactants and flooring
adhesives with a high level of
customer service and production flexibility.
This transaction highlights
Brookwood’s senior-focused and consultative approach to developing meaningful partnerships
with its clients. Following the completion of an assessment of strategic
alternatives, Brookwood served on the Board of Advisors of this
second-generation family company to help the Company drive growth and increase
value. In 2009 Brookwood aided the
Company in refinancing the business and finally advised on this liquidity event
for the family shareholders in late 2010.
This transaction yielded attractive
results for all of Para-Chem’s stakeholders including excellent value and terms
for the shareholders and new opportunities for the management team in the form
of a valuable partner focused on accelerating growth.
