(“Para-Chem”) on a refinancing.  Brookwood effectively educated capital providers on the turnaround of Para-Chem’s performance, including the strength and sustainability of Para-Chem’s market position and its recent profit improvement initiatives.  While Para-Chem was facing challenges with its incumbent senior lender, CIT, Brookwood drew upon its relationships with capital providers and managed a process that resulted in several attractive financing options.  The transaction closed successfully under a tight timeline, despite the difficult environment in today’s capital markets.  The new financing provides incremental liquidity, an improved term structure, attractive pricing and increased operating flexibility with a strong lending partner.
