Carolina Beer and Beverage

We are pleased to announce that Brookwood Associates advised the shareholders of Carolina Beer and Beverage (“CBB”) on the sale of a majority interest in the Company to an investor group led by SunTx Capital Partners. The Company’s current management team will continue to operate the business going forward and retains a significant ownership stake. CBB is one of the country’s leading contract packagers of energy drinks and other functional beverages for some of the best-known global brands in the industry. In addition, the Company owns and distributes a dozen high quality craft beers sold under the Carolina Blonde and Cottonwood Ale brands.

The successful CBB transaction extends Brookwood’s record of assisting leading privately-owned businesses with their liquidity needs. The transaction also reflects our strong presence in three industries – food and beverage, packaging and contract services.
