Prior to joining Brookwood Associates in 1997, Mr. Whiting was a Manager at Taylor Consulting Group in Atlanta, where he provided business valuation and financial advisory services to privately held middle-market companies.

Mr. Whiting has more than 10 years of experience providing financial and strategic advisory services to management teams, boards of directors and business owners. Since joining Brookwood, he has focused on providing mergers and acquisitions and strategic advisory services to middle-market companies, including family owned businesses and portfolio companies of private equity groups. His industry experience includes: textiles, business services, industrial distribution, plastics and packaging, construction, specialty retailing, restaurants and diversified manufacturing.

Mr. Whiting earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Emory University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the J. Mack Robinson Graduate School of Business at Georgia State University.

Mr. Whiting lives in the Brookhaven section of Atlanta with his wife and son. He is actively involved with Peachtree Road United Methodist Church, where he serves on the Administrative Board, the Family Council and the Evangelism Team. He is an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoys losing golf balls.
